Updates in a whirlwind of behind the scenes activity!
The Flight Week 2026 (FW26) staff and Outreach Team have been extremely busy in the past week. Not that you would know it without public updates though! So, this week we are starting consistent updates on our Discord, VRChat Group, X.com Profile and website. Just so everyone knows what's up. Here's what's going down:
Sign Ups End September 7th
There are 14 days left to apply for Flight Week 2026. No one likes last second crunch time, so signups end on September 7th, 2026. This gives our World Creation team at least a full week time to make sure all awesome booths, banners, posters and other materials are in place and good to go before September 14th. So, if you have not sent in an application form make sure you do so ASAP!
Updated Custom Booth Specifications
Our Custom Booth Specifications have updated. This is super important. New information from our World Creation team and from VRChat staff has resulted in the specs for Custom Booths to be updated. It includes important info like no support for Custom Scripts, maximum booth file size and other things. If you are working on a Custom Booth, you should check specs again. Read the new specs:
Over 30 Exhibitors Confirmed
FW26 has over 30 exhibitors confirmed. More than 30 communities, creators, sellers and sponsors will have booths, banners and posters at Flight Week 2026. They come from a very wide range of topics. From groups that fly airshows to well-known communities from across all of VRChat.
We will announce the first wave of exhibitors on Friday, August 28th, 2026 on our Discord, VRChat Group, X.com Profile and website. Our media partners will also be pushing information, so keep an eye out!
About Flight Week 2026
Flight Week 2026 is the second annual VRChat platform wide event focused on flight in VRChat. The hub world for this event will be on an aircraft carrier covered in booths, banners and posters. There will also be a tab on the VRChat Worlds menu of featured flight worlds, just like we had last year.
While this event is designed to gather and celebrate the international flight community, we are not limited to other types of communities, creators, developers and VRChat groups. Everyone is welcome! See our Exhibitor Information page and Exhibitor Application for more info.
